Resume check — find the gaps before a recruiter does

Paste your resume and the job advert. This checks, on your own device, whether you have covered the skills and keywords the advert asks for, and flags the formatting problems that get resumes filtered out before a human reads them.

Your resume never leaves your device. There is no upload, no account, and no request carrying your resume off this page. The whole check runs in JavaScript in your browser — you can disconnect from the internet and it still works.

What this checks

What this does not do

This is a text comparison, not an AI writer. It does not rewrite your resume, does not invent experience you do not have, and does not know your industry's conventions. Keyword matching rewards honest coverage of skills you genuinely have — padding a resume with words you cannot back up fails at the interview instead of the screening stage.

Common questions

Is my resume uploaded anywhere?

No. The check runs in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent to a server, stored, or logged.

Should I match every keyword exactly?

No. Cover the ones that describe work you have actually done. A resume that mirrors the advert word-for-word without the experience behind it reads as padded and gets caught.

Why does length matter?

Most roles get 6–10 seconds of first-pass attention. A resume that is far too long gets skimmed past, and one that is too short looks like it lacks depth. Aim for roughly one page per decade of experience, one to two pages total for most roles.
