Short version: the numbers you type into the calculators never leave your device, and we do not collect personal information.

What the calculators do with your numbers

Nothing leaves your browser. Every calculation runs in JavaScript on your own device. Your salary, commute distance, offer figures, and any other input are held in the page only for as long as you have it open. They are not sent to us, not saved, and not logged.

You can confirm this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use a calculator. You will see no request carrying your figures. The calculators also work if you disconnect from the internet entirely after the page loads.

What we do not collect

What the hosting provider sees

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages receives ordinary technical request information — such as the IP address making the request, the page requested, and the browser's user-agent string. That is inherent to serving a web page over HTTP and applies to every site you visit. We do not use it to build profiles, and we do not attempt to link it to anything you type into a calculator.

We do not use invasive analytics. If we ever measure aggregate traffic, it is counted in a way that does not identify individual visitors, and this page will say so before that changes.

Third parties

The pages load no external scripts, fonts, or stylesheets. Everything is served from this site. That means using a calculator does not hand your visit to an advertising or analytics network.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we knowingly collect no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the change will be described here plainly rather than buried. The current version describes a site that collects nothing, and any future version will have to justify a departure from that.
